Visit to Grandmas

Kim and I had the pleasure of visiting family in St. Louis and Quincy for the week-end with Jillian and Curtis. It was so awesome to introduce Curtis to so many people and he rose to the occasion! He was so well behaved and obedient we were so proud of him and Jillian's mommy skills! Of course, he hates cold weather and we had to go on the coldest week-end of the year thus far. Jillian doesn't remember that degree of cold and needed a little help with handling a baby in that windchill (the temp -not wind chill - was a high of 12 the entire week-end). The blankets and coats sure were a pain in the neck!!! The flight was wonderful and the 2.5 hour drive to Quincy from St. Louis was a breeze with Curtis behaving the entire time. What an exciting time! Dan and Kristy got to go back to the doctor and have another ultra-sound. It's so much fun to hear your son talk about how cool it is to see his baby growing. I can't wait to see him as a daddy. I think it will open his eyes to so many things!

Then Curtis said Nana today! Jill brought him to our house (he was being a little toot in a SL store) and he walked around saying "Nana". He was looking for me! I get to babysit tomorrow night while Jill & Jacob go on a date. I can't wait!!!!!

I am soooooo blessed!

Curiousity

OK - gotta ask.....is this a waste of time or does anyone check this site anymore???? I haven't had a comment in a LONG time so kinda wondering if I should just shut this puppy down.

Just in case......today I had to go back to work. SUCH A BUMMER! The same people that were Bit*** before the break were Bitc**** after. So sad! How can some people walk into an office and not even say Good Morning? All she ever does is give dirty looks (except to the boss of course!)......something must be really horrible in her life to give her that attitude all the time. I'm still praying for her daily but it gets harder and harder!

My little dumplin' had his 1 year check-up today. He's 75% for height and only 50% for weight. Must be taking after his Nana - YEAH RIGHT!
